OK, his “Truth Test” report actually calls the tale “false.”

For good measure, Hauser tags Gov. Pawlenty (twice) for spreading the manure. In fact, the guv’s smiling visage is the last one you see before Hauser hangs an “F” grade around the tale’s neck.

And, finally, Pawlenty on Chris Wallace this morning –

When asked about “ballots in the trunk of an election official” Tim Pawlenty said “my understanding is that story has been retracted.” Well, howjadoo. Nice work by our dissembler-in-chief of the Minnesota National Guard. He’s so good at using the passive tense to mask his active role in spreading this story, and even now, seeming like the victim of the news media.
