As we approach midnight, Al Franken is trailing by a little, and El Tinklenberg and Ashwin Madia by more. My quick scan of current state House tallies shows the DFL could gain or lose a couple of seats.
If these trends stand, Minnesota Dems could wind up gaining nothing from Obama’s big Minnesota win.
Of course, a Senate win would turn the DFL’s missed opportunity into exuberant relief.
