Survey USA has an interesting graphic about how close — or far off — 14 pollsters came in predicting Minnesotans’ presidential vote.
The item — titled “Bias of 14 Minnesota Pollsters Compared” — shows six of the 14 came within 2 points of the actual number, including the Star Tribune.
Others were way off — including Survey USA. (Seven points “biased’ toward Republicans.) Kudos for reporting bravely!
A big caveat: everyone’s “final survey” didn’t happen at the same time. Pollsters concluding earlier could’ve missed late changes in voter sentiment.
