Some fine writing at the Minnesota Daily

Today’s best read: The Minnesota Daily’s look at a four-month DVD piracy investigation in St. Paul.
By David Brauer

Only idiots despair for the young generation, who can still bring it, even in the traditional newspaper form.

Today’s example from the Minnesota Daily: “The Pirates of St. Paul,” Andy Mannix’s highly readable, well-reported and altogether scoopy look at that the men charged in Ramsey County’s first case of counterfeited intellectual property infringement in five years.

Turns out Motion Picture Association of America flatfoots are watching dudes selling “Quantum of Solace” from “worn SUVs” at Unidale Mall. With a trail that might lead all the way to … Russia. Who knew?
