It’s always nice to report actual hiring in the industry, so congrats to Katie Dohman, newly named style editor at Minnesota Monthly. According to the MnMo release, Dohman worked at the competition (MSP Communications) as beauty editor, and most recently wrote for Brain Traffic, a P.R. firm. She joins editor Joel Hoekstra and senior editors Tim Gihring and Dara Moskowitz on the masthead.
Dohman fills the slot left by Elizabeth Dehn earlier this year. Dehn, who still freelances for the magazine, decided to take a risk, resigning to start her own website, BeautyBets.com. Gotta admire her guts!
