The tastiest support you’ll ever give journalists

The Minnesota chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association does a lot of good things. It kicks money to St. Thomas’s ThreeSixty young-journalist mentoring/training program, and funds scholarships regardless of race.

But the AAJA is also a fun group and even more importantly, they hold their annual fundraiser at tasty places.

This year’s is next Thursday (Oct. 14) at Bombay Bistro, 820 Marquette, 6:30-9 p.m. Tickets are pretty darn reasonable: $20 in advance online and $25 at the door.

    Thanks for the shoutout, David!!

MPR, KSTP, The Strib and PiPress all have newsroom representatives pre-selling tickets as well! Grab your friendly neighborhood AAJA member for more details.

Dave: Thanks for the mention. Two other things to keep in mind: Great auction with sports tix and other goodies up for grabs. Also, national AAJA president Sharon Chan is flying in from Seattle for event.
