St. Paul’s Ecolab is one of the nation’s “Top 50 Most Military-Friendly Employers,” according to G.I. Jobs magazine.
The provider of cleaning, food safety and health products — with its headquarters in downtown St. Paul — was cited for strong recruiting efforts of former military personnel, a high percentage of new hires with prior military service and company policies toward National Guard and reserve service.
“Ecolab has long recognized the benefits of hiring employees with a history of military service,” said Michael Meyer, Ecolab’s senior vice president of human resources. “The leadership experience, strong work ethic and technical backgrounds of military candidates are often a perfect match for many of our company’s in-demand, highly-skilled positions.”
The company has more than 26,000 employees and annual sales totaling $5.5 billion in 160 countries.
