Hudson Hospital becoming HealthPartners member

Hudson Hospital, just across the river in Wisconsin, has signed an agreement to become a member of HealthPartners, effective Jan. 1.

At that time, its name will become Hudson Hospital & Clinics “to better reflect the increased offerings of specialty clinic physicians and services on the campus.”

The hospital has been “affiliated” with HealthPartners since 1999 and has seen its emergency care visits doubled in that time, thanks to the partnership with emergency medical doctors at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, also a HealthPartners hospital.

This new membership relationship, officials said, will result in even greater local access to physician specialists including surgeons, cardiologists, neurologists and others as well as full-service specialty services.
