For example, a New York store manager recently gave into her employees’ requests for a Red Bull vending machine in the store to help keep them going during the long, exhausting holiday season. No retailer is immune to the “seismic” drop in consumer spending seen over the last few months, but Best Buy is a “strong operator” and will weather the storm, an analyst says.
