I mentioned yesterday that Imation is attending a couple of big consumer electronics shows this week. I didn’t realize they aren’t the only Oakdale company that will be at both events.

Hearing Components, a 3M spinoff, is also out West this week. The company is showing off a new set of Comply brand noise-reducing earphones that were designed with the iPhone in mind.

The foam tips conform to the listener’s ear canal, sealing out some background noise. And an integrated microphone lets users take phone calls without removing the buds. The earphones sell for about $100.
