No need to bailout Buffalo Wild Wings.
Even as the economy struggles, the Minneapolis restaurant chain reports that sales are habanero hot.
Buffalo Wild Wing’s revenue for the three months ending in December was up almost 33 percent from a year ago. Part of that’s because the chain opened more locations in 2008, but even sales at restaurants open more than a year were up 4.5 percent, the company said.
CEO Sally Smith said in the company’s statement that her team is energized for 2009, looking forward to, among other things, a national TV advertising campaign during the college basketball tournaments.
