Polaris Industries says it won’t brake for recession

Polaris Industries says it’s “keeping its foot on the gas with its entrance into the electric low emission vehicle market.” (An odd analogy, don’t you think? Touting greener vehicles with an image of burning combustible fuel?)

The company unveiled its 2010 product offerings today. In addition to electric vehicles, they include all-terrain and side-by-side toys that boast more power and control, and two new touring-model Victory motorcycles.

“We see the challenges of the current economic environment as an opportunity for Polaris to lead by example, and we believe our 2010 product lineup does exactly that,” COO Bennett Morgan said in the company’s statement, which includes details on the products.
