Shooting victim, suspect were co-workers at Pillsbury

The victim and suspect in a shooting at a southern Indiana Pillbury plant Wednesday both apparently worked at the facility, according to news reports.

An update to Wednesday’s Pillsbury shooting in Indiana: The victim and suspect both worked at the General Mills-owned facility, according to news reports.

The victim finished his shift, left and then, for some reason, returned to the plant, which produces Pillsbury dinner rolls and cookies. The suspect reportedly arrived at the plant after an altercation at a woman’s house.

Police think the men may have been involved in a “love triangle.” Several employees and delivery drivers were at the plant and witnessed the shooting, which happened about 7 a.m.
