Target hit with discrimination lawsuit in California

The Associated Press reports that a lawsuit against Target accuses a store of reducing an employee’s hours because he has cerebral palsy.

The discrimination lawsuit was filed Thursday in Santa Ana, Calif., by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In addition to cutting the worker’s hours, the complaint says the store excluded the man’s job coach and parents from meetings they asked to attend.

Target didn’t return the AP’s call for comment Monday.
