Dunn Bros. has a new bean counter. The Minneapolis-based coffee chain announced Tuesday that it’s named Kim Plahn as president and CFO. Plahn is expected to lead the company’s growth strategy.

Dunn Bros. has a new bean counter. The Minneapolis-based coffee chain announced Tuesday that it’s named Kim Plahn as president and CFO. Plahn is expected to lead the company’s growth strategy.

“We’re at a point now, with nearly 100 stores in our system, where we have strong opportunities to grow by leveraging a strong brand that’s recognized for our commitment to quality, the neighborhoods we serve, and socially responsible business practices,” Plahn said in the company’s statement.

Plahn has a background in finance, management and operations, with a resume that includes work at McGladrey Hendrickson, Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Co. and Damark International.
