UnitedHealth closes deal for Health Net’s Northeast licenses: UnitedHealthcare has completed its acquisition of Health Net’s Northeast U.S. licenses, a move that expands the insurer’s footprint in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, Honeywell partner on energy-efficiency project: The Minneapolis Public Housing Authority said today that it will spend $33.6 million to improve energy efficiency in housing across the city. The project, managed by Honeywell International, involves 40 high-rise buildings and 700 single-family residences. Read full story

RSM McGladrey and McGladrey & Pullen reach agreement: H&R Block has announced that its accounting subsidiary, RSM McGladrey, has reached an agreement in its spat with independent auditing firm McGladrey & Pullen. They struck a renewal agreement that will extend the firms’ current collaboration until 2015. Read full story

Target launches holiday “To Go” quick-service stores: Target Corp. launched a new pop-up store concept in three cities on Friday, opening locations that allow consumers to order gifts in much the same way they’d order food at a quick-service restaurant. The stores, dubbed Target To-Go, offer pre-wrapped small gifts, which range from kids’ toys to gadgets. Read full story
