Nice Ride bike sharing program kicks off in 2 weeks: Nice Ride Minnesota, a bike-sharing program set to kick off in Minneapolis two weeks from now, has begun installing hundreds of bicycles at 65 kiosks around the area. The first phase of the project, which will launch June 10, will bring 1,000 bikes and 75 kiosks into the city. Read full story

Navarre seeks to sell anime subsidiary: Navarre Corp. is seeking to sell its Funimation Entertainment subsidiary, which distributes Japanese anime cartoons in the United States. New Hope-based Navarre said Thursday that it’s engaged investment bank Houlihan Lokey to assist it in structuring and negotiating a potential transaction for the sale of Funimation. Read full story 

Goldman Sachs seeks stake in firm acquiring Minnesota bank: A small Minnesota bank might provide an opportunity for a Goldman Sachs Group Inc.-related firm to invest in banks across the country. Goldman  is seeking a 24.9 percent stake in SKBHC Holdings — a Corona del Mar, Calif.-based investment firm that in turn is seeking to fully acquire Starbuck, Minn.-based Starbuck Bancshares Inc., the holding company of The First National Bank of Starbuck.
