Mosaic CEO James Prokopanko’s pay grows 40 percent: Mosaic Co. increased compensation to its top executive by nearly 40 percent in the fiscal year ended May 31, according to a new financial filing. James Prokopanko, president and CEO of the Plymouth-based fertilizer company, earned $6.26 million in salary, stock and other compensation. In his most recent year as chief executive, Prokopanko took home a $933,333 salary, $3.83 million in stock and options, $961,400 cash management bonus and $529,571 in other benefits. Read full story

Target launches full-service Mobile centers: Target Corp., best known for its “cheap chic” clothing and furnishings, is adding a series of services aimed at bolstering its electronics departments. Target announced this morning that it is launching Target Mobile — enhanced, full-service mobile phone centers operated by RadioShack within Target stores. The centers will offer a wide range of wireless handsets, service plans and accessories. Read full story

H&M opening Maplewood store Thursday: Swedish clothing retailer H & M Hennes & Mauritz will open its Maplewood store on Thursday. The mall said earlier this year that the 18,000-square-foot store would fill what were formerly four vacant stores. The Maplewood Mall location is the company’s fourth in Minnesota. Read full story

St. Paul’s Lexington Commons Apartments completed: The transformation of a St. Paul nursing home into the 48-unit Lexington Commons Apartments is complete. The 45,351-square-foot facility on the Central Corridor near Interstate 94 and Lexington Parkway will house formerly homeless adults, according to nonprofit housing developer CommonBond Communities.
