Best Buy to carry Amazon.com’s Kindle device, too: Best Buy will be carrying Amazon.com’s Kindle device this fall in order to help its customers compare e-readers. Toys R Us opens three Twin Cities holiday stores: Toys R Us has opened three of its temporary express stores in the Twin Cities for the holiday shopping season. The express stores that are already open include one at the Mall of America in Bloomington, at Albertville Premium Outlets in Albertville and at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove. Last year, Toys R Us had Express stores at the Mall of America and Southdale Center in Edina.  Read full story

Report: Favre among biggest political donors in NFL: In addition to being one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks, Minnesota Viking Brett Favre is also among the league’s top 46 donors to federal political campaigns. Favre and his wife, Deanna, donated $4,800 to help re-elect Rep. Gene Taylor, D-Miss., according to a study by the Center for Responsive Politics. Favre is the only member of the Vikings on the list.
