Report: Crate & Barrel eyeing Uptown for CB2 store: Home decor retailer Crate & Barrel’s modern, more affordable cousin, called CB2, is reportedly in the works to occupy a retail space in Uptown Minneapolis’ Calhoun Square shopping center. Crate & Barrel’s parent company, Euromarket Designs Inc., based in Northbrook, Ill, hasn’t formally announced plans for a Twin Cities launch of CB2 store, a local neighborhood planning organization has already seen conceptual plans for the store. North Memorial names new CEO, Cress leaves: North Memorial Health Care said Thursday that its former board chair Loren “Larry” Taylor will serve as its permanent CEO. Taylor had been serving as interim CEO since Sept. 2, when previous CEO David Cress was arrested in a prostitution vice sting in Richfield. Read full story
