American kicks off MSP-LaGuardia route: American Airlines Inc. has begun offering nonstop flights between the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and New York’s LaGuardia Airport. The carrier’s American Eagle division will operate four nonstop flights daily from the main terminal, also known as Terminal 1. Read full story

UnitedHealth, Best Buy execs land on Fortune list: Two Minnesotans made Fortune Magazine’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Business ranking in 2010. Gail Boudreaux, president of UnitedHealthcare and executive vice president of UnitedHealthcare Group Inc., and Shari Ballard, president of Best Buy Americas, ranked 34th and 48th respectfully in the annual ranking of America’s leading businesswomen. Analysts International CEO resigns: Andrew Borgstrom has resigned his position as CEO, president and director of IT consulting firm Analysts International Corp. Analysts reported in a news release that Borgstrom left the firm Sept. 28 in order to devote his attention to RapiDemand, a Chicago-based technology M&A advisory firm. Read full story
