Multi-Ethnic Chambers of Commerce members seek combined facility: Six Twin Cities ethnic chambers of commerce and business groups are planning to cut costs and combine their firepower by moving in together. The organizations, members of the Minnesota Multi-Ethnic Chambers of Commerce Joint Council, have committed to sharing a centrally located office and joint incubator program, said coordinator Val Vargas, who also is president of the St. Paul-based Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Minnesota. In addition to the Hispanic Chamber, the council’s largest member, similar organizations representing the Hmong, American Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Pan-African business communities have signed on. Sun Country launches business travel services: Sun Country Airlines has launched a travel agency service for businesses. The carrier’s new service, called Sun Country Business Concierge, will help companies book flights on any airline. However, it will offer “exclusive perks” to travelers who fly Sun Country. The service also will book hotels, make restaurant reservations and handle other tasks. Business Concierge will charge customers a fee of $30 per trip booked. Read full story

Insurance Salvage Recovery sold to Iowa company: Insurance Salvage Recovery, a company that picks up and auctions off totaled vehicles, has been sold to an Iowa company for an undisclosed amount. The buyer is QCSA Holdings, an Eldridge, Iowa-based firm that markets salvaged vehicles at 80 U.S. locations. Read full story
