Sierra Bravo’s Mike Derheim named CEO to replace Luke Bucklin, Mill District apartments in Minneapolis now open, and Pro Staff changes name to Atterro.

Sierra Bravo’s Mike Derheim named CEO, replacing Luke Bucklin: Sierra Bravo Corp. has appointed Mike Derheim, one of its three co-founders, to be the new CEO, assuming the title formerly held by Luke Bucklin, who died in late October in a small plane crash. Derheim had been chief financial officer of the company. Read full story

Mill District apartments in Minneapolis now open: Minneapolis’ new Mill District City Apartments at 225 Portland Ave. will officially open with a ribbon cutting Wednesday. Village Green Cos. broke ground last October on the $25 million, 175-unit apartment complex near the Guthrie Theatre. Some of the first residents moved in last week. Read full story

Pro Staff changes name to Atterro: Pro Staff, a national staffing firm based in Minneapolis, today announced its new corporate name: Atterro Inc. The company is making the change so it can segment different brands for different services. It is keeping the name Pro Staff for administrative and light industrial specialty staffing but introducing Hunter Hamilton for the finance and accounting market, Ware Technology Services for engineering and IT markets, and Digital People for creative and marketing.
