Alliant Techsystems gets $213M ammunition order for Missouri plant: Eden Prairie-based Alliant Techsystems has received an order worth at least $213 million under a contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command in Rock Island, Ill. The order is for a mix of ammunition to be produced by Alliant Techsytems’ ATK Small Caliber Systems division in Independence, Mo. The $213 million order is an addition to an existing indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract with the plant that lasts until 2012. Read full story

Target reportedly has a coupons problem: Target Corp.’s checkout registers have been failing to register the full amount on certain manufacturers’ coupons, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.  Target spokeswoman Erika Svingen acknowledged to the newspaper that the Minneapolis-based retailer has been aware of the problem since August, and is working to fix the problem. In the meantime, Target has told its cashiers to check coupons to make sure customers are getting the full value. Read full story

Allco Renewable Energy invests $8M in Outland Renewable Energy: Outland Renewable Energy said Friday that it has secured an additional $8 million for its majority shareholder, Allco Renewable Energy. Allco, a New York-based firm that develops and invests in renewable energy firms, also is committing another $22 million in future investments in Canby-based Outland, operates and maintains wind energy facilities across the United States.
