Interactive: Who’s running for the Minnesota Legislature

After Tuesday’s filing deadline, find out who is running for the Legislature in each Senate and House district.

Politicians, start your engines: The filing deadline for Minnesota Legislature candidates was 5 p.m on Tuesday, June 5. To track who is running where, MinnPost has compiled a map of every candidate who filed to run in the upcoming election. Map colors represent the political leaning of the district based on past elections (read more here).

Candidate names will update automatically as we receive information from the secretary of state, so check back often. Click on any district to see the candidates, or search for your address in the sidebar below.

Please note, the interactive map may not work in some versions of Internet Explorer. We are working to address these issues.

* Political leaning was calculated by averaging the percentage point advantage of each party's candidates for State House across the 2006, 2008 and 2010 elections. The method is explained in 'Calculating political lean of new legislative districts'.
