Palin to campaign for Bachmann in Minnesota

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The two darlings of the Tea Party Right will campaign together, as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin hits the campaign trail for Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Palin’s visit to the 6th District is slated for April 7, though details of the joint appearance have yet to be revealed.

“There is absolutely no one more in tune with the hearts and minds of everyday Americans than Governor Palin, and I’m excited to welcome her back to our beautiful state this spring,” Bachmann said in a statement.

Bachmann is a top target for Democrats in 2010 – hers was listed as in the top “Races to Watch” by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Two top challengers have emerged so far, state Sen. Tarryl Clark  and Maureen Reed

Both Congressional Quarterly and the Cook Political Report rate the 6th District as Leans Republican, while the Rothenberg Political Report rates it as Republican Favored.

If Shania Twain showed up we’d have a trifecta

I wonder what that event will cost and which press will be allowed to cover what is said? The event will probably not even be in the 6th District.
