WASHINGTON — What more could one want on the day after St. Patrick’s and the start of March Madness, as health care reform legislation hurtles toward an all-or-nothing weekend vote, than watching basketball at an Irish pub with your favorite MinnPost D.C. correspondent?
Well, that last bit might not be much of a draw, but hopefully you’ll look past it for a good cause.
The March Goodness campaign that you’ve no-doubt heard about already is holding a kickoff happy hour at my favorite Washington pub — Fado. It’s just off the Gallery Place/Chinatown/Verizon Center Metro stop, conveniently located across the street from Chinatown’s Friendship gate.
