GOP reschedules health care reform repeal for Wednesday

House Republicans have rescheduled a vote on repealing the recently-passed health care overhaul law for this coming Wednesday, January 19th.

WASHINGTON — House Republicans have rescheduled a vote on repealing the recently-passed health care overhaul law for this coming Wednesday, January 19th.

The subsequent bill to direct committees (like John Kline’s Education and the Workforce panel) to produce replacement health reform legislation is scheduled for Thursday.

The two bills had been scheduled for earlier this week, but GOP leaders pulled the bills to instead offer a resolution of support for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and other victims of the recent shootings in Tucson.
