Rep. Collin Peterson has a checkered voting history on the Affordable Care Act.

“If they’re planning on that, we’re right there with them,” Stevenson said. “Please do.”

“It would have been unwise to jump to conclusions after the shutdown,” he said, “and I think it’s equally unwise to jump to conclusions about Obamacare.”

  1. The Republicans have become the party of

chronic complainers for two long. Is anything right with this country? They are beginning to sound like chicken little “the sky is falling the sky is falling”.

I suppose they have to attack it now because 2 years after full implementation everyone will love it.

But then we live in a state that was responsible enough to do their own version but then we don’t get as many fed hand outs as the other states do.

  2. Survival is the goal

It really looks to me like this is the question: How do you protect the gross profit streams in modern medical economics and STILL look like you’re working for the people? The fact that healthcare and residential real estate have been capitalized to excess does nothing for the normal everyday citizen, the sub-60,000 set. In fact, our policies have eroded the social fabric to the point of endangering the functionality of normal human congress. This is not an issue when resources are excessive enough to “buy out of the rat race” as it were. The rabble, i.e., the 95 percent of us, are inconsequential to the grand designs of our non responsive “representatives.” So keep those CFEO’s and CFO’s in new rides and lovely junkets (which have not dried up as we’re supposed to believe) oh mighty “representatives.” And while your at it, make sure that off shore banking is a breeze for you and the cronies.

  3. Confusing

When Rep. Colin Peterson reaches across the aisle in the spirit of bipartisanship to save ObamaCare, Rep. Nancy Pelsoi calls it “political.” The actions of Peterson, Nolan and Walz are examples of the very bipartisan action that Democrats have been calling for.
