Early voting lines in Vadnais Heights, then no waiting

Voters started lining up at 6 a.m. in Vadnais Heights outside the public works building. The wait at the end of the line, for those showing up at 7 a.m. when the doors opened, was about 30-40 minutes. By 9:15 a.m., there was no line.

In White Bear Lake, where 150 waited outside City Hall at 6:57 a.m, the lines were gone at 9 a.m.

The White Bear Lake library saw its line start to form about 6:30 a.m.; longest wait was about 40 minutes, judges said. By 9:20, there was no wait at the sign-in tables, but some waited a few minutes to get into a curtained booth, and then a malfunction in the counting machine backed things up for about five minutes.
