Coleman sizes up 2012 Minnesota race for Senate, calls Klobuchar ‘strong’

Former Sen. Norm Coleman not only doesn’t plan to challenge Sen. Amy Klobuchar when she comes up for her first reelection next, he doesn’t know anyone who is giving it serious consideration and he acknowledges, in an interview with Politico, that Klobe is in very good shape.

The money quote from Coleman:

“I think it could be a tough year. She [Klobuchar]’s certainly strong. She’s got good numbers and good support. She hasn’t been a very polarizing force.  Clearly, that’s going to be a challenge.”

I’m glad to see that Norm is still prone to understatement!
