Donald Trump is now signalling that he no longer needs Fox News. They are no longer the partner in his endeavors, just another supplicant. This isn’t new In presidential elections the incumbent, or in this case the person with a huge lead, feels he has more to lose by debating and making a mistake, than by participating in it. Megyn Kelly was just the convenient excuse. He has nothing to gain. He’s running out the clock. Read the Art of the Deal. Log in to Reply Submitted by Paul Brandon on 01/27/2016 - 12:26 pm. You mean the book actually written by Tony Schwartz? Log in to Reply Submitted by RB Holbrook on 01/27/2016 - 11:01 am. Coincidence? I’m guessing that it was entirely by chance that an advertisement for A Chorus Line (“All it takes is a dream”) appears on the same page as a post about the Republican debates on Fox. Intentional or not, I can think of no better comment. Log in to Reply Submitted by Paul Udstrand on 01/27/2016 - 12:32 pm. Ha ha… You just wrote about it! Or… finally… something about Trump you won’t write about! 🙂 Log in to Reply Submitted by Jim Million on 01/28/2016 - 03:50 pm. Eric’s “Tease” Now up to 6 comments. I’m beginning to believe this man might be able to raise the dead. Most of his threads do indicate he has much work to do on mending the halt and lame, however. Back in my theatrical days, we worked in the box office to “shape the house.” You’re gettin’ darn good at that, Eric. Such a beautiful day this is to become mindless for awhile…… Log in to Reply Submitted by jim hughes on 01/29/2016 - 02:37 pm. He doesn’t need Fox. Regardless of who the Republican candidate is, Fox will be running nonstop attacks on Hilary Clinton – i.e. “Benghazi” and “emails” – and how she ignored the threat of ISIS. I don’t watch Fox but I’m guessing that they didn’t spend a lot of air time on flattering bios of Mitt Romney. They’ll deliver the goods for Trump to the extent his agenda overlaps with theirs.
