Help celebrate MinnPost’s 8th anniversary by joining us for an evening with Bill & Judith Moyers, who will reflect on their life in journalism and offer some thoughts on where the industry is headed. Bill and Judith will be interviewed by their oldest grandson Henry Moyers, a newly minted college graduate.
This event marks a new format for our annual anniversary celebration. And a new venue: the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts in downtown Minneapolis. The event includes a reception for Sponsors and their guests from 5:30 to 7:00, followed by the interview program at 7:30 and dessert and coffee in the Atrium after the program.
Anniversary sponsorships starting at $300 are now available (see chart below for details). All sponsorships include tickets to the Sponsor reception at Mason’s Restaurant Barre in the Cowles Center, where guests will enjoy mingling, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.
Individual tickets are available as well for the interview program and dessert and coffee reception. Individual tickets are priced at $50 each and go on sale September 8. The $50 ticket price includes a tax-deductible donation to MinnPost of $30.
MinnPost Silver, Gold and Platinum members ($5/month or more) can buy individual tickets during our special members-only presale, starting September 1st. All proceeds of the 8th Anniversary event will benefit the year-round work of MinnPost journalists.
