Grand Old Day

  • This event has passed.

MinnPost is a Grand Old Day Arts District sponsor.

Grand Old Day, Saint Paul’s first rite of summer, is where to go when you’re looking for things to do in the Twin Cities. It’s the kick off to Minnesota festivals season, and is the largest one-day festival in the Midwest. Mark your calendars for the first Sunday in June, because you don’t want to miss out on Grand Old Day — one of the biggest and best Twin Cities events of the summer!

When: Saint Paul’s Grand Old Day is held annually, on the 1st Sunday in June. For 2012 Grand Old Day will be Sunday, June 3!

Hours: 7:45am-6:00pm

Where: Along Grand Avenue in St. Paul MN from Fairview Ave to Dale St.

Cost: Grand Old Day is FREE to attend.

21+ Wristbands: To gain admittance to the live music festival gardens, a wristband/ticket is required, and festival garden guests must be 21+. Wristbands are available for purchase on the day of the festival for $8 at Wristband Booths located near each festival garden. New! Your wristband gets you into all 6 live music festival gardens.

A valid ID must be presented at the wristband booth at the time of purchase — no exceptions.

Pets: Grand Ave loves pets, but due to the large crowds and high level of activity during the festival, we must kindly ask that you leave your pets at home. Please join us during Paws on Grand on Sunday, August 7 — a day for your pets to be pampered and celebrated all along the Avenue!

Grand Old Day St. Paul gives back in more ways than FUN! We are pleased to support non-profit organizations through fundraising opportunities. The Grand Avenue Business Association is excited to partner with non-profit groups to offer this fantastic fundraising opportunity, and to support fellow non-profit organizations! Check back to see how your organization can get involved.
