Ever wonder what the Democratic and Republican national conventions are really like: behind the scenes, outside the area, all the stuff you can’t see on TV? Well, it’s time to find out. On August 1, join MinnPost Washington correspondent Sam Brodey — fresh off of covering both gatherings — at Modist Brewing in Minneapolis from 5:30-7 p.m. Sam will answer all your questions, not only about the DNC and RNC, but about Minnesota’s congressional campaigns, which include three of the most competitive races in the country.

This lively question and answer session is part of our 2016-17 MinnPost Social event series, presented by RBC Wealth Management, in which MinnPost journalists share insights with audience members in a casual atmosphere that includes a cash bar — and free appetizers.
