The League of Women Voters Minneapolis will host a candidate forum for the Minneapolis at-large school board candidates on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at the Waite House in Minneapolis. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the forum will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Participating candidates include Iris Altamirano, Rebecca Gagnon, Ira Jourdain and Don Samuels.

LWV Minneapolis will host the evening with three local co-sponsors: Pillsbury United Communities, The Education Equity Organizing Collaborative and MinnPost. A Spanish translation of the forum will be provided. LWV Minneapolis and acredited media professionals will be allowed to record the forum, but all other recording will be prohibited.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government by providing public policy education opportunities and resources. LWV Minneapolis does not endorse candidates, and the purpose of our forums is to inform the public and foster discussions among voters and candidates.
