Update: Just two spots left for ‘Down(town) & Dirty’ walking tour

Midday update: Two spots gone, two more left.

Midday update: Two spots gone, two more left.

If you’re 1) a history-lover, 2) available this Saturday afternoon May 22 starting at 1:30, and 3) willing to donate $30 to MinnPost, this one’s for you.

It’s “Down(town) & Dirty” — a small-group walking tour of the underside of Hennepin Avenue. It was a silent auction item at MinnRoast.

Daily Glean writer Max (Bunny) Sparber will lead the tour. Historical sites include the strip club where Diablo Cody first performed, the old skid row, and, of course, the former site of Moby’s bar, where there were more police calls per night than any other single location in Minneapolis.

Max’s max is 16 people. At this moment, four spots are available. $30 per person. Advance payment required.

First come, first served. Email lkramer [at] minnpost [dot] com to reserve your spot.
