Help spread the word about MinnPost

It’s campaign season, and while we’re covering everyone else’s campaign, MinnPost is launching its own — to get more Minnesotans to know about us.

It’s campaign season, and while we’re covering everyone else’s campaign, MinnPost is launching its own — to get more Minnesotans to know about us.

You can help spread the word by placing one of our signs on your lawn, or — if you have no lawn — in your window.

The message: “I listen to MPR®, but I read MinnPost.com”

If you’re a MinnPost reader, chances are you do listen to Minnesota Public Radio. And we believe other MPR listeners will enjoy MinnPost, too, once they give it a try. With these lawns signs, our current readers can encourage new readers.

To get your sign, register here. You can pick up your sign (and a bumper sticker and button, too) at two locations in Minneapolis, or at MinnPost’s Carousel Park stage at the State Fair Sunday, or from MinnPost’s mobile campaign headquarters, which will make scheduled stops in various neighborhoods. Details on the sign-up page.

If you’re outside the metro, or feel you can’t get to any of our pickup spots, you can make your own signs. Click here to download a high resolution PDF of the sign.

Feel free to take a photo of your sign on a lawn or in a window, with or without people, and email it to lawnsigns@minnpost.com, with some explanation for a caption. We’ll publish some of the photos, and give prizes for the best ones.
