MinnPost’s business section is being beefed up.
We have launched MinnPost Market Tracker, a daily report of data and news links about Minnesota’s major public companies and U.S. financial markets.
In the business area on the home page, you’ll find a two-tab widget [at right], which displays either the stock price of 20 of the largest public companies in Minnesota, or the latest results on a number of major national indexes.
Clicking on either of these will take you to MinnPost pages displaying even more information about local and national stocks and national markets, with links to breaking stories about individual companies or the financial markets overall.
We’ve aggregated 20 big public companies in the state into the Minnesota Twenty, a price-weighted media index — in other words, the equivalent of owning one share of each of the 20 companies — so you can see how major Minnesota companies are doing as a group.
