Welcome to MinnPost’s first sustaining member campaign

We’re asking readers like you to sign up as sustaining members. Our goal: to get at least 250 new or existing donors to become sustainers by June 23.

Roxane Battle talks about why she chose to become a sustaining member of MinnPost.com.

Got an extra $5 (or more) a month? Then welcome to MinnPost’s first sustaining member campaign.

We’re asking readers like you to sign up as sustaining members. Our goal: to get at least 250 new or existing donors to become sustainers by June 23.

All you need to do is register here to make an automatic, recurring donation to MinnPost of $5 or more every month until you cancel or modify.

Over the next 10 days, our site will showcase video and text messages from well-known and not-so-well-known Minnesotans who’ve made the decision to become sustainers. We encourage you to join them.

And, if you have time, you’re invited to email your own video or text message and headshot to membership director Stephanie Johnson at sjohnson [at] minnpost [dot] com. We’ll continue to post messages from new sustaining members throughout the year.

Sustainers at all levels are critically important to MinnPost’s future. By cutting down on staff time, paper, ink and postage used in the renewal process, we can free up revenues to devote to news and analysis. And all donations to MinnPost are fully tax-deductible.

Just check it out here. And call Stephanie with any questions: 612-455-6954.

At least 250 by June 23. With your help, we’ll do it.
