On the heels of the success of our first sustaining member campaign, MinnPost has received a new momentum booster.

The Pohlad Family Foundation has awarded MinnPost a $10,000 challenge grant, to match contributions from new donors and increased giving by current donors.

We have until the end of November to raise the $10,000.

So if you haven’t donated before and are thinking about it, now’s a great time, because your contribution will be matched, whether you make a one-time gift or — even better — become a sustaining member.

And if you have been donating but step up to a higher level, the Pohlad grant will match the difference. For example, if you gave MinnPost $50 last year, and you sign on now as a sustaining member at $10 a month, that will trigger a $70 match from the challenge grant.

Sincere thanks to the Pohlad Family Foundation for this show of support for MinnPost’s membership efforts, and to all of you who help us reach the goal.

Note to all: The list of Founding Sustainers, who donated by June 28, is now posted here. Please contact Stephanie Johnson at sjohnson [at] minnpost [dot] com or 612-455-6954 if we have inadvertently omitted or misspelled your name.
