Mark your calendars for MinnPost’s third annual Day at the State Fair.
This year, MinnPost is partnering with the Bush Foundation, InCommons and the State Fair for a day of newsmaker interviews, entertainment and, most especially, the Minnesota Community Pride Showcase.
The date is Saturday, Sept. 3, and we’ll have all sorts of programming details in the weeks ahead.
First up, though, is the Showcase, which will recognize communities throughout the state that are working collaboratively to move beyond the current economic challenges with creative and proactive community and economic development innovations.
The Showcase is open to nonprofit organizations, community groups and schools, so be sure to encourage any qualifying group you know to consider taking part. All the details are available here. (PDF)

Entries for the program are being accepted through 5 p.m. Monday, July 11.
