The MinnPost Asks live interview series wraps up for 2011 with two programs in October.
On Monday, Oct. 3, education reporter Beth Hawkins will interview Eric Kaler, new president of the University of Minnesota.
And on Monday, Oct. 24, Steve Berg will interview Susan Haigh, Metropolitan Council Chair, and Michael Langley, CEO of the new organization Greater MSP. Envision Minnesota is co-sponsor of this event, on the topic “Twin Cities 2041: What Lies Ahead?”
Beth Hawkins writes MinnPost’s Learning Curve blog. Steve Berg founded and wrote MinnPost’s Cityscape urban affairs blog until recently. (Cityscape is now written by Steve Dornfeld.)
The MinnPost Asks series features newsmaker interviews in an informal setting with audience interaction, with a hearty appetizer buffet, dessert and coffee, and cash bar. Events are 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Hell’s Kitchen (80 South 9th St., Minneapolis). Series sponsors are Dorsey & Whitney and Padilla Speer Beardsley.
