Amendments, recounts, and more — Mark Ritchie at Aug. 22 MinnPost Asks

MinnPost AsksOn Wednesday, Aug. 22, MinnPost Asks presented by LearningLife will feature Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, MinnPost reporter Beth Hawkins, and U of M law professor Dale Carpenter in a wide-ranging discussion of amendments, recounts and more.

The program, held at the Continuing Education and Conference Center, U of M St. Paul campus, will begin at 7 p.m. Dessert and coffee will be served.

Topics to be discussed include the Secretary of State’s powers, and how those powers play out in the constitutional amendment battles, recounts, and the overall contentious state of state elections.
