Now in its seventh year, MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan news site whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
We’re looking for a part-time advertising coordinator to join our team for approximately 20 hours a week (exact schedule can be tailored to fit both MinnPost’s needs and the individual’s availability). Qualified applicants will be detail-oriented and skillfully able to multi-task; deliver excellent customer service to clients; work both independently and with others; and embrace change.
This position’s duties include preparation of client presentations; light sales; assisting with advertising fulfillment and client reporting; occasional banner management and reporting using OAS, 24/7 Real Media; assisting with Google Analytics metrics and MailChimp; managing trade agreements; updating marketing and traffic information; researching prospects and industries; and other responsibilities as assigned.
Marketing or advertising background and/or degree in a related field is preferred, although we will train the right person. This position does not offer health benefits.
