Now into its fourth day, our Summer Member Drive continues to heat up. Since launching Tuesday, we have received 58 donations totaling $3,959, including 40 donations from new or returning members. That puts us nearly half of the way to our goal of adding 100 member households before our drive ends on July 2.
Our new strategy of reducing the number of messages to logged in members while simultaneously increasing communication to non-members seems to be paying off. Several members have told us they appreciate our recognition of their ongoing support, and we have seen a steadier flow of donations from new or returning members than in past campaigns.
In addition, during this campaign more than 400 of you have created MinnPost.com user accounts, which give qualifying members access to MinnPost+ content and allow anyone to post comments, manage their newsletter and communication preferences, etc. (If you haven’t created your free user account yet, you can do so now via our registration page.)
