About 50 people eschewed the lovely weather and joined MinnPost Tuesday night at Day Block Brewing in Minneapolis to hear MinnPost reporters Peter Callaghan, Marlys Harris and Bill Lindeke discuss the current Minneapolis-St. Paul downtown development boom and its consequences for the region.

Executive Editor Andrew Putz moderated the 90-minute discussion, which featured sharp questions from attendees on subjects ranging from stadium development to one-way streets.

The conversation was a part of MinnPost’s free event series, MinnPost Social, sponsored by RBC Wealth Management, in which our journalists share their insights with the public in a casual atmosphere.

The next MinnPost Social will take place in September and feature MinnPost education reporter Beth Hawkins in her second ‘back-to-school’ event.
