MinnPost reaches midpoint of Earth Journal funding drive

Donations continue to arrive in support of MinnPost’s award-winning environmental coverage, but we still need your help.

We’re now more than halfway through our weeklong Earth Journal campaign, which aims to raise $10,000 in support of our award-winning environmental reporting.

Dozens have taken the opportunity to join our generous Earth Journal Circle donors in sustaining the column, which was recognized last year as the best independent news blog (on any subject) by the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Still, we remain a long way from our campaign goal of raising $10,000, which represents the final fifth of what it costs to produce a year’s worth of Ron Meador’s twice-weekly reports.

We remain optimistic, and urge readers to chip in for this worthy cause by making a gift in any amount.
