You’ve heard Bernadeia Johnson speak during her many years as superintendent of Minneapolis Public Schools, but you’ll get to hear her sing at MinnRoast 2016! The event will take place at the Historic State Theatre April 15, and feature several humorous song parodies, including Ms. Johnson’s showstopper.

MinnRoast, now in its ninth year, has become a highlight of the Minnesota political calendar, bringing policymakers and journalists together to poke fun at each other and the state we all love in songs, skits, and monologues.

Joining Bernadeia Johnson this year will be Gov. Mark Dayton, Rep. Tom Emmer, Sen. Al Franken, Rep. Keith Ellison, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges and more. You can find more information about the event and special guests here.
