Today we’re launching our Spring Member Drive, which aims to, over the next eight days, inspire 125 new gifts in support of MinnPost.
The goal may sound modest, but the fact is that every gift helps MinnPost grow, and every loyal reader who steps up to become a member further strengthens our nonprofit business model.
This year, we aim to grow our already strong political coverage. The member contributions we receive this spring will bear fruit this fall, when we deliver the best reporting anywhere on Minnesota’s many important races.
Every gift will get us closer to our goal, and help enable the year-round work of our talented journalists.
We remain grateful for the support of our more than 2,600 member-households – whose perennial contributions are our largest and most reliable funding source – and so we’ll be working extra hard this week to cultivate new and returning donors.
Throughout the Spring Member Drive we’ll publish pieces reporting progress toward our goal and sharing comments from our donors.
